It builds the three things that decide whether students succeed on a UK qualification taught in English: language, academic technique and confidence with digital tools.<\/p>\n<h2>What you study<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>English for academic purposes, including the skills IELTS assesses<\/li>\n<li>Academic writing, referencing and research<\/li>\n<li>Digital literacy \u2014 documents, spreadsheets, presentations, online collaboration<\/li>\n<li>Study skills, time management and independent learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Where it leads<\/h2>\n<p>On successful completion you progress to a Pearson BTEC Level 2 or Level 3 programme at the Institute, depending on your results and your subject interest.<\/p>\n<h2>Fees<\/h2>\n<p>OMR 2,240 at the founding rate (list price OMR 3,200).
